About Tancuri:

Short routes, up to 2 pitches, from 5.5 to 5.12. Most of the routes are protected with bolts, but some with pitons (left in place). No trad gear necessary. You can climb from september to june (in mid summer it gets too hot). Sun Aspect: Allsun
Approach: Approach Description: From Cluj-Napoca, take the road to Turda (E81/E60), after Tureni (1-2km) stop at a motel/gas station. From there on foot across a hill follow a small trail that leads directly above the climbing area. Landmarks:limestone quarry-go directly towards it Access Issues: You can't see the gorges until you're directly above them. Approach Time: 20 min from the gas station.
