About Craig Yr Ysfa (OS):
A climb at Craig Yr Ysfa is a stepping stone of most British and Welsh climber's lifetime. The best Diff in Wales is here...the beautiful AMPHITHEATRE BUTTRESS at 1000 feet long. This splits the crag into two parts, the right side having the better routes and the morning sun. Over 70 routes, mainly in the lower grades, and a few easy Extremes, varying from 200 to 1000 feet long. It can get cold here any time but summer, and the routes are long, so please dress and pack accordingly, and take it with you on the climb!
