Drive east along 1a from canmore, park in a little parking lot on the left hand side of the road about 400 past Gap Lake. Walk along the highway about 50 meters, then up the dirt road to the plant. The road is gated, and says no trespassing (danger of Drowning) about 50 m past the gate, head into the bushes on the left hand side and follow a rough trail flagged with yellow (and orange on the first tree) tape. Walk past the dogs, along the fence, then up the hill when you come to the large broken stump. The entire hike from the car is about 7-10 minutes. |
