About Burstall Slabs:
This is a serious area .. a 2 hour approach in an apline setting. 30foot runouts with mixed gear/bolted climbs. The routes are old school .. the bolts were placed on lead and sparangly. This area is not the place to learn slab climbing, but it is suposedly one of the premiere limestone frinction climbing areas in north america. If you climb 5.10 slab somwhere else .. you will probably s*#t your self when you get on here |
