About British Columbia:

Welcome to Beautiful British Columbia!

Home of the Grand wall. One of worlds best lines...............................Home of the Bugaboos. The poor mans Patagonia

............................

With the plethora of mountains here in B.C. it is a small wonder the province is one of the world's best climbing areas. We have the third largest single rock face in continental North America, Canada's hardest sport route, Canada's hardest boulder problems, unlimited alpine and ice climbing, endless trad and plenty of easier single pitch routes too. We can also boast of having Canada's most mild weather in the lower mainland, allowing for almost year-round climbing.

Many of British Columbia’s most famous and most popular climbing destinations are found within the boundary’s of our Provincial Parks. When you visit one of these areas in the Data Base you will find a links to the BC Governments Provincial Park web site. Click the link and find useful information on such things as detailed down-loadable maps, user fees, rules and regulations, and much much more.
