About Kootneay Crag:
Shaded by tall fir trees, Kootenay Crag looks over Kootenay Lake out side the town on Nelson. Although this crags only hosts about a dozen climbs it is home to some of the finest and hardest climbs found in the Kootenays. |

Directions: | Turn onto Gordon Street before you cross the Orange Bridge. Take your first left and then turn right at the T junction at the end to the street. Your now on Bealby Pt Road. Follow this road along the shore of Kootenay Lake for 400m, untill you find a place to park. Look for the trail head leading up the hill. |
