| This area has seen activity for a long time by trad climbers on the surrounding granite cliffs.The bouldering has recently been focused on and so far has had good reviews.Unfortunetly the access issues are a factor since a lot of the best cliffs and boulders are on native reservations.Pictograghs and reminents of pit houses are in the area.Please stay away from theses artifacts.One more note. The grades posted here are a VERY rough estimate. Most problems have seen only 2nd or 3rd ascents. |

| Directions: | About 45 min. west of Penticton on highway 3 the rec site is past the town of Hedley on Old Hedley road.Stemwinder is on the left side of the highway about 5 minutes west of Hedley.The cliffs on the east side of town are on Native lands and you should obtain permission before venturing forth. |
