About The Old Hedley west rec site:

This bouldering area is mainly in the trees above the campsite.Some people do camp in among the boulders but I don't think it is part of the campground.Don't be surprised to find garbage from weekend partiers.
Approach: from the campground entrance follow the gravel road west towards the gas main. Turn right up the hill and follow the road into the forest. The road ends in a loop around several boulders.

Access Issues: adjacent to private lands, mainly first nation reserve lands. In addition several important cultural items exist, including pictographs and an old site of a pithouse dwelling.
