EDIT: STOP: Once your in Singhampton find Opsrey Street and follow it east. Stay on this road unil you reach a hairpin curve, after that turn on the next right and park near the bridge. Follow the old road on north shore of the stream until it ends and countinue following the stream. Once you find a clearing look for trail marks to the left and follw it to the crag. ALTERNATE APPROACH FOLLOWS.
The above are directions to the old approach and left as reference. A change of ownership has led to 'no trespassing' signs.
An alternate may be to drive approx 1-2km east of Singhamton. Park on the side of the road and bushwack in from the road south to the crag trying to avoid crossing private land. MNR purchased a parcel of land ajoining the road last year but intended use of this land is unclear. Once at the top of the cliff, walk to either end or rap in over Nutcracker. Do not rap directly from the trees, leave slings and collect them as you leave if neccessary. |
