| Approach: | From Lion's Head, head along Isthmus Bay Road, take a left at Whippoorwill Road to Forty Hills Road. The first right has the Bruce Trail Parking lot. Park, leave lot and walk along road to Whippoorwill Road. Walk to the very last cottage, and take a right through a faint trail in the trees to the rock beach. | Access Issues: | Access is sensitive because of proximity to landowners. Use the Bruce Trail parking lot, and walk in along the road until you reach the beach. Walk along beach to hit the boulders. Do not argue with land owners to jeopardize access. Access is already restricted in Halfway Dump, and White Bluff is sketchy. If you're quiet about it, nobody will bug you. And believe me, it's one of the most quiet places on the planet to boulder. |
