Description:

FA: S.Parent, Peter Powel '86 An old traditional classic and an airy place indeed. The block on top looks loose but no signs of movement in the past so be brave! If Pianka took his son up it, then we can have faith in Physics. Route is up big ledges. Rappel descent off webbing - you'd be best to bring a knife to get rid of the old stuff, and to install some new material. Remember to leave your autograph at the top.

4 out of 5 stars Canine

Ridiculously windy and cold. It felt like the whole tower might topple over in the gusts. Led the first third then got sketched out and downclimbed to the bottom. Started to rain as soon as I got back on the ground. Will have to try it again some other time.

Beautiful clear afternoon, & as per usual the view at the top added to the already thoroughly enjoyable climb.
