UAB Campus Recreation Center (Indoor Gym)
About UAB Campus Recreation Center:
| Open Mon-Thur: 10-8 Fri-Sat: 10-6 Sun: 11-6 Membership open to students, employees, and alumni. Fees are included in student tuition. Day use is $7 when accompanied by a member. The wall is an Entre-Prises Imprint, 11m tall by 13m wide. There are7 top ropes (2 are autobelay) and upwards of 20 routes. Belayers must take a class and a test to be certified. The wall is always staffed with at least one belayer. It is possible that both autobelays and the employee are busy causing you to wait if you and your partner are not certified. We supply all equipment except chalk, but supplies and sizes are limited. |

| Directions: | Located on the Corner of University Blvd. and 16th St. S. Heading North on I-65 take the University Blvd. exit. Go straight for 5 blocks and it will be on the right. Heading South on I-65 take the 6th Ave. S. exit. Take a right then a right on University Blvd. Go under the Interstate and it will be 5 blocks down on the right. |
