Description:

9850'. Approach about 7 miles up Castner glacier, then turn right for 2-3 miles up the M'Ladies branch. This gains access to the popular southwest ridge (Alaska Grade 1). Mainly a gentle ridge, traverses may be required around gendarmes on the route. Final 500+ ft to the summit is steeper with generally good snow. Summit is rather glaciated so use caution.
