Description:
APPROACH--4.5 miles from 4,300 feet on the Yetna Glacier landing area (south of the Park boundary) to the 5,250 foot base of the ridge.
TOTAL TIME--21 to 30 days
VERTICAL GAIN--12,200 feet (there is also a considerable amount of elevation gain and loss on the ridge).
DIFFICULTIES & DANGERS--Ice up to 55 degrees in the couloir.
CAMPS--5,250 (base camp); 6,500; 8,100; 9,000; 11,900; 13,000; 16,300.
