APPROACH--6 miles from the 6,500 foot Southwest Fork of the Kahiltna Glacier landing strip to the 7,200 foot base.
TOTAL TIME--15 to 21 days
VERTICAL GAIN--10,200 feet
DIFFICULTIES & DANGERS--If unstable snow conditions exist, the cornices on this route will be dangerous and difficult, if not impassable; 5.7 rock climbing on a 500 foot granite wall.
CAMPS--8,900; 10,000; 12,200 (on dome); 14,000 (granite outcropping).
