APPROACH--Half a mile from the 7,900 foot Middle East Branch of the Tokositna Glacier landing area to the 8,400 foot base.

TOTAL TIME--8 to 14 days

VERTICAL GAIN--6,100 feet

DIFFICULTIES & DANGERS--Very difficult mixed climbing; crux is a vertical ice chimney and wall on the 17th pitch.

CAMPS--Chopped bivouacs until 12,000 feet.
