About Arrigetch Peaks:
| An astounding collection of granite peaks and spires in the western Brooks Range, north of the Arctic Circle. Located within the Gates of the Arctic National Park, with several peaks over 6000 feet tall, topping out at almost 7200 feet. Alpine rock climbing at its finest. Mostly rock routes, with only short glacier travel to the base of the routes. Remote, with access only by foot or bushplane, you will have a private climbing experience in some of the most pristine wilderness on earth. |

| Directions: | Because it is a National Park and Preserve you will need to check in at one of the ranger stations in Bettles or Fairbanks. Your best bet is to hire one of the many bush pilots that fly for the rafting or adventure services to drop you off at one of the lakes in the area. The most common base camp is on Aiyagomahala Creek, most of the routes and ridges can be reached from here. The source of the Kobuk River is here and you could combine an exciting rafting trip all the way to the Bering Sea at the end of your trip. The routes can be grouped into three sections by the ridge they are located on. The first two run west to east, and the third runs north to south. |
