About Chigmit Mountains:
The Chigmit Mountains are bordered on the west by Iliamna Lake, to the north by the Tlikakila River, to the south by Cook Inlet and Redoubt Bay, and to the east by the North Fork River, which seperates the Double and Black Glaciers. Iliamna and Redoubt are also volcanoes in the Pacific's Ring of Fire. Both have erupted in modern times, so check with the volcano observatory before approaching some of these volcanic summits. |
