The Diamond
About The Diamond:
This is the diamond shaped wall directly across from the old mining cabins and to the left of Zulu Wall. This is the lowest point on the Pinnacle Buttress. Follow the trail through the boulders straight up to the base. For a topo, check out the Diamond section of the online climbing guide at http://www.morffed.com/guide/3.php |
Approach: | From the AAC outhouse, follow the trail directly down the hill and cross the creek on the boulders. Continue on the trail around the boulderfield to the right of the bright white rockfall. Once above the boulderfield, continue along the base of the walls and traverse left to the base of the diamond. Easy approach if you are on the trail. |
