About Weiner Lake Bouldering:

Weiner Lake is an extensive collection of small crags and boulders. Climbers have been active here for years, cleaning and climbing numerous problems and topropes on the boulders. Some of the best bouldering in the area can be found here, it just takes a little searching. The views and scenery are also outstanding!
Nearest town or city: Chickaloon
Directions: Weiner Lake is located just off the Glenn Highway, about 7 miles past Chickaloon. Leave Palmer on the Glenn Highway heading north, drive through Sutton and Chickaloon, and after you pass Long Lake, Weiner Lake is the next large lake. Look for three pull-outs on the right side of the road and park in the second one. Walk up the left side of the road until you see a rock cairn next to a faint trail about 50 yards down the road, then head up the trail to the first of the boulders. The higher and farther right you travel, the bigger the boulders get.
