Coffee Pot Rock
About Coffee Pot Rock:
| To access the routes near Summit Block Rock, drive to the Sugarloaf trailhead (due south of the routes). Drive west on Highway 89 from the intersection with 179 to Coffeepot Dr. Turn right to Sanborn and go left at the intersection; follow the signs to the trailhead. From the trailhead walk the Teacup trail and continue about 200 yds. past the intersection with the Summit trail until you find an unmarked well-used climbers trail going left. This meanders west on flat ground til you begin to ascend slickrock to the left of the Dr. Rubo's formation. For other routes, climbers trails meander underneath the formations from this trailhead. |
