About Sabino Canyon:
| Sabino canyon is a nice trip for the family. Not exactly a climbers dream when you have Mt. Lemmon nearbye. You do have to pay to get in but that gets you way up the canyon and lessens the approach time. There are many climbing areas up the canyon and access to Thimble Peak which offers some fun climbs. |

| Directions: | Sabino Canyon Rec. Area is located in the Santa Catalina Mtns. near Tucson. If you get into town get a map and it will give you directions to the canyon. Some of the tour guides who drive the cars up and down the canyon can offer limited advice on where to try your luck climbing. |
