Description:

Starts left of Jackals Calling, and moves up a nice large crack to the first belay anchor for Jackals Calling. From the anchor, it then moves north up the ramp, around the corner, and up to a large ledge. Take the crack to the left upto the top. The top has anchors to belay from as well as two bolts on the route to protect some "if'y" spots. I used one each Camalot #4 and 4.5, and two each Camalot #.75 to #3.5. Also take a small selection of small/med nuts. Wear your helmets, route still has alot of loose stuff on the ledges. "El Maricon" follows the crack (first pitch) to the right and is bolted.

Great route. has some off width crack start (which can be stemmed or face climbed if you don't like OW) # easy ptches has plenty of holds and a bueaty of a nice exposed view as you turn the corner to finish the second pitch. Rob and I did the First Ascent of this and recently went back and added the top Belay bolts and beefed up the protection(making it safer for those learning trad, by adding 2 bolts up high and one to protect the start is planned (if Rob did not do it already)
