About Red Rock:
Red Rock point is one of the tallest established climbing areas in the state, with some routes reaching near 200 feet. It's red sandstone walls tower above the valley just north of the Sam's Throne area... Access is a tricky issue here: do NOT attempt to access the bluff from the top. The southern approach, while tricky, is the only open option. |

Directions: | I will say this: The lower approach is very steep and overgrown with thorns and littered with boulders. If you park in the field just south of Red Rock point, you need to check with the landowners first. |
