Description:

Short little climb on the Ripple boulder right on the water. Standing at the base of Arachnophobia, look out at the lake, walk to lake and cross the beaver hut.

3 out of 5 stars pink thursday

Headed out to meet Rob and, surprisingly, Cole at the mud-encrusted Lincoln crags, and hopped back on this baby. My previous visit, on TR solo, I was somehow unable to even make all the moves. So, I chickened on the lead and started on TR, and voom! cake. Go for the lead - fall after the crux. Then after a bit of a rest, including Rob's skip-the-2nd-bold redpoint (nice little groundfall potential there) I went again and snagged it clean. Now it only remains for me to hang the draws meself. All this for a little 25-foot climb! Barely a highball, I guess, but what the hell.

tried to TR this a year ago - couldn't get past the initial overhang. Today I set up the fixed line for the Gri-Gri, warmed up on KMWN and went for it. Crux for me was still the overhang - nice little puzzle. Hang-dogged the first effort and was glad to just get up - even though it's pretty short. After resting a while, watching a party of three on Sticky Stuff, I hopped on again and got it with one hang. After that I jogged the trail out through the trees, across the dam and back. Nice afternoon at Lincoln.

Rested a while and got it with one hang

4 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

I finally sent this after many tries on many days. Felt a little harder than 5.10c to me, but I know people who disagree.
