About Minarets, The:

The Minarets are the needle like range just south of Mt. Ritter. Named for thier First ascent teams; Starr (11,319 ft), Riegelhuth (10,560 ft), Pridham (10,960 ft), Kehrlein (11,440 ft), Adams (12,000 ft), Ken (11,760 ft), Michael (12,240 ft), Eichorn (12,255 ft), Rice (12,160 ft), Bedayan (12,080 ft), Dawson (11,920 ft), Dyer (11,680 ft), Jensen (11,760 ft), Turner (11,600 ft), Leonard (11,600 ft), Waller (11,711 ft) and it wouldn't be a range in the sierra's without Clyde Minaret (12,281 ft) named for the Sierra hard man Norman Clyde. The 9 mile approch to Cecile Lake's 10,400 ft altitude is a great hike even for the none trad climbers, and can be made in to a loop hike from Agnew Meadow to Red's Meadow.
