Description:
A two pitch route up the 180 main face. Very good. Starts right behind the oak tree in the center of the face. This is a "wild" route with a delicate L. traverse to gain a bulge, surmounted by some very cool pockets and pinching of pebbles! Some small nubbins on steep rock gains the 1rst belay in a cool cave! Step out left, (very wild) then cruize up easy yet sustained climbing, exiting from the mini-cave at the top with a last move up and right! When John and I put this route up, we decided not to put the belay ten feet from the top, so if you want to do it in one pitch, carefully simul-climb for about 15 feet. Either way, it is still a great route, with wonderful climbing..lest you whine about the general rock quality of the area, which we did not!Descent Options:
Walk off to the right, 2 minutes.
