Tumbling Rainbow Formation
About Tumbling Rainbow Formation:
Prominent blocky tower that is the highest point in Real Hidden Valley. Many fun lines to do in this area on quality stone, but beacause of this expect it to be crowded on weekends. The approach cuts off from the Nature Trail just before the shoulder of The Sentinel, and ascends up through a blocky section just before the base of the formation. Standout routes include the committing Run For Your Life (5.10b), the thin, tricky dihedral of Rainy Day, Dream Away (5.11b), the powerful Tonic Boom (5.12d) as well as the classic wide crack of Tumbling Rainbow (5.9). |
