About 5 Minute Crag:

Located 5 mininutes from the ocean, this 150 foot tall sandstone crag has a small section of medium quality rock with bolted sport climbs from 5.10d to 5.12b/c. Climb here only after the weather has been dry for several days. Best season is Fall or Spring, Summer can be pretty hot as it faces due west (nice ocean and canyon views). All bolts a 5/8 x 5" 5 piece Rawls. Evidence of old aid climbing (bolts) dating to the 1960s. Holds can be sandy if no one has climbed them for a while.
Nearest town or city: Laguna Beach
Directions: Park on right, just before water tank, along Temple Hills Drive; hike on trail above water tank south to bench, then along rough trail south to base of crag.
