| This bouldering area lies on the ridge south of Tahquitz, and offers some of the best bouldering in the Idyllwild area. Granite boulders are 10 - 30 feet high. |

| Directions: | from Idyllwild, go south on 243, then take Saunders Meadow Rd E, Left on Pine Dr, Right on Tahquitz View, then right on the dirt road (there's a sign that says 'South Ridge')... to get up this dirt road you need a vehicle with high clearance, though not necessarily a 4x4... I got up there in a non-4x4 Nissan Pathfinder. The parking by the boulder is quite obvious... don't turn right either of 2 times before you get up to the boulder. |
