North Face
About North Face:
| This part of the rock is all the way around on the left side. There are some nice low angle routes here, and the descent is easier than the Friction Descent. APPROACH: Follow the North Face Trail. Drive all the way up to the turn around. Walk towards the rock on the left side of the fence and down to the stream. Walk left along the stream until you see a log that is about as big around as your calf/thigh. Cross on rocks there and head up and left for about 2 minutes until the trail starts going back right for 100' then slightly left and way uphill trying to stay on a trail and not cutting switchbacks. You will end up in the bottom left of the NW Recess where you can go left to reach the North Face. |
