About Little Table Mountain:

Little Table Mountain is an obvious escarpment consisting of sandstone with cobbles and pockets. It has been seen and climbed on for the past 30 years by many climbers who travel Hwy 41 to Yosemite. Currently ALL of LTM is on private property and trespassers will be agressively prosecuted by the owners. Don't even think about it!!! The 4 mile square area is broken up into 2 major Parcels owned by different people. The main central escarpment and the east side is owned by a much respected local ranching family. In the past this is where most of the topropes and bouldering has occured. At this time they are not open to discussions about climbers using their land. This could change in the future so please don't trespass. A section of the west side (1200 acres) is currently for sale. We are posting pictures of this area in hopes of getting climber involvement in getting this area open! A group has been started to spearhead the charge on getting this area open to climbing. Please check out the group discussion board for the latest developments and pitch in if you can help. UPDATE - The real estate listing on this property has been pulled. For now it is back to Private Property. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Friends_Of_Little_Hidden_Valley/ You can also PM me at the user name below if you are interested in helping. Fresno could really use a local winter crag where climbers can get together and have fun... Oh and YES! for the most part the cobbles are actually solid.
