About Patterson Bluff:

Patterson Bluff is really two parts. The right side is a 2-3 pitch bench about a 1/2 mile wide. The left side is a large almost Dome like formation that 6-10 pitches. There are some established routes and unbelievable potential. Approaching without the proper beta is difficult at best but the granite is awesome and has a life time of opportunity. The best way to approach the right side is from the top, if you can find the correct dirt road turn off, and rap down the established rap route below the reflectors. You can also approach from the bottom. Start beneath the water fall on the left side of the bench to avoid some major bush wacking........watch for the little bit of poison oak in the area.
