Description:

Thin face up the center of the gully below the rappel anchors on the far right side of playground ledge. Animal Magnetism (11c) climbs the left side of the slab and Feeding Frenzy (11a) climbs the right side. All three routes end at the large ring bolts. The name Sport Fishing came from the practice of frequently 'winching" friction challenged climbers up the slab. This slab had been top roped for several years, by several different parties prior to the climbs being bolted as lead climbs. It appears that Paul Martzen had top roped the slab in 1984 (according to the FA list in the 1993 SEKI guide). Others, perhaps also Paul may have climbed here as early as 1982 and referred to the top rope climb as Surface Tension.
