This spectacular canyon presents potential climbers with excellent trad climbing on walls up to 700 ft. tall. With more than 600 routes in the canyon and a multitude of opportunties still lurking - Eldorado Canyon can't be beat, Eldorado has MORE than a lifetime supply of rock. Eldo as it is known to the locals also is home to world famous routes such as The Naked Edge, Rosy Crusifiction, Bastille Crack and Inner Space. |

Directions: | From Boulder, take HW 93 (Broadway) South until you get to the first stop light after leaving Boulder. This is Eldorado Springs Dr. Take this West until you hit the town. The park entrance is at the end of the dirt road into town. From Denver get onto 6th Ave. and follow that west into Golden, stay on this road(hwy93) as it turns north and heads up to Boulder. After a while of driving take a left on Eldorado Springs Dr. Take this West until you hit the town. The park entrance is at the end of the dirt road into town. OR take the fast way- I-25 north to Hwy 36 west(towards boulder). Take the Superior/Louisville/Eldorado Springs exit. At the top of the ramp turn left. at the second stoplight turn right onto Co 170. follow this several miles, you will come to a stoplight where 170 crosses 93. Go straight through the light, follow 170 on into Eldorado Springs, the park is at the far end of the town. |
