Description:

This route is near the right edge of the flatiron. Start in a wide crack 30 feet left of a huge gash filled with trees. Climb the wide crack for thirty feet, and head left onto the face when possible. Climb 4 long pitches to the upper ridge of the flatiron, working out belays wherever possible. Each of these pitches is well over 100 feet, and the second is the crux.

Two more long and very exposed pitches traverse left along the crest of the ridge. These pitches are low 5th class, but are spectacular. Make sure your partner is solid because long runouts mean a big swing is possible for the follower.
