Description:
This is the ice climb on the left side of the Corinthian Column past Total Abandon when using the Hero Traverse. It climbs a chimney system for three pitches and usually has some mixed terrain. P1: As the snowfield narrows get geared up by a hanging sling before the chimney. Head up the chimney and tunnel around a chockstone. P2: We headed out left along a ledge and did some hard mixed moves that quickly relented. Apparently you can head left on the other side of the chimney when there is more ice. P3: The business, climb up and stem on an ice pillar and then tunnel up around a chockstone. From here follow the snow to a chimney on the right with a chockstone at the top. After that chockstone is a short step of near vertical ice and then the final snow field. Bring several long runners to avoid rope drag issuesDescent Options:
Take the Crags Trail down to the parking lot.

Awesome
This route is probably the most difficult alpine route on Pikes Peak. The climbing is very scrappy with a lot of tunnelling and almost offwidth climbing. Can't wait to do Total Abandon.
