About Rae's Creek Aqueduct:

A man made aqueduct that is no longer in use. Located next to a fairly good swimming hole.
Nearest town or city: Augusta, Georgia
Directions: From Downtown Augusta take Broad st West, take a right on either Goodrich st (goes in front of the mills on the north side of the Canal) Continue on as the road turns into a dirt and gravel path. Follow Goodrich st till it crosses over the railroad tracks, turning into the "Augusta Levee Rd" within 200 feet of crossing the rail road tracks on your right hand side is a small canyon. This is the Aqueduct. There are good anchor points at the tops of all of the walls.
