About Pilot Knob State Park:

Climbing is PROHIBITED in Pilot Knob State Park I was irresponsible and did the ask forgiveness before permission thing. The rules were already in existence, I was simply negligent of the policy. Even though it says climbing can be arranged, the tower at the knob would be more of a buildering thing and illegal pretty much everywhere. If anyone is interested in working with the the park to access climbing the tower please contact me. At this time it is unlikely they would seriously consider changin anything for a single user... -Klymer |

| Directions: | From I35 take Hwy 9 West, Pilot Knob State Park is on the South side of the highway, there are two entrances, take the one furthest West, there is also a back entrance. Basically stick to the main road there will be a parking area near the top of the park, a short hike up the main trail with the red gate will lead you to the observation tower... |
