(from the Falcon guide) These climbs face roughly north and are across from the lower
boat dock on the Minnesota side. Park at the Summit rock trail parking area, just
before you reach the beach. The best approach takes the major trail that proceeds
slightly north into the woods.
Take the right fork, pass along a short cliff on the left, and reach some wooden
steps to ypur left. Ascend the steps, hike past some oaks, and reach the tops of the
climbs just before another set of wooden steps (going down). The top of Sentinel
is marked by a double crack that faces the Minnesota potholes, while Yosemite crack
ends on the ledge below and to the right.
To reach the bases of Sentinel and Yosemite crack, continue down the steps to the
south end of the railings. Cut north on the rocks back toward Sentinel. When the top
part of Sentinel comes into veiw, go down left a few feet and down climb into a short
corner. Continue down and around a few more feet to a nice but exposed ledge with a
large tree. This is the top of Lost ego and the belay point for Sentinel
and Yosemite crack.
