About Yin and Yang:

Description: Although it is home to only four routes, two of those routes have the distinction of being among the most classic pitches in the Red Rock area. Reminiscient of Indian Creek, Yin and Yang and Atman are two of the best short crack pitches in the area.

Approach: From the small cul-de-sac at the end of the paved road in Calico Basin, hop the fence and head west on the trail for about 5 minutes until you see a faint path heading north. Take this right turn and head toward Kraft Mountain. You'll hit a well defined trail that will take you up through the saddle at the top of the hill. About 100 yards past the saddle, on the right, is a short little formation. This is Yin and Yang. Walk around to the south east corner of the formation to the climbs, which face away from the trail. Approach time is roughly 20 minutes.

Beta/Updates: Check out the pictures on this page for a view of the formation from the trail.
