The Ice House
About The Ice House:
Description: This area is another unpopular area due to its long approach. At one hour of uphill slogging, this is probably a fair reason. The base elevation is about 10,000' and the cliff is North facing. On the hottest day in the Vegas Valley, you can climb all day in cool temps.
Approach: On SR 158 from SR 157 at mile marker 6 is a pullout. Head across the road and up the trail, eventually bumping into a private road. Head up the road until you pass a trailer and drop onto a trail. Follow the trail all the way to the cliff. Beta/Updates: |
