About Shield, The:

The biggest wall in the Sandias, there are a couple grade VI's here. Check with the USFS for seasonal raptor closures. The Knife Edge is an easy 45min-1 hour approach. The SW face can be accessed a number of ways, all with high epic potential. Expect 2-3 hours to approach these routes.
