A 65' basalt crag with both bolted and traditional lines. Most have lowering anchors, a few will need you to build a gear belay. Ranges from 5.9-5.12+ |
Approach: | From NM 4, turn left on Rover, then left again on Meadow. Between house numbers 719 and 721 is a public access trail. Follow it to the canyon rim, head left (north) to atop a short knoll. Continue about 10 yards left and descend a short gully with a 2 move, easy downclimb to the base of a cliff. Turn left and switchback down for about 50 yards to the base of another cliff. This is Below the Old New Place. |
