About Ice Age Wall:

This is a minor but amusing crag above the Upper Cascade Lake. Though it is very close to the road, it isnt visible from anywhere below. Along the Cascade Lakes are a series gabions, large wire baskets filled with rock that work as retaining walls. Along Upper Cascade Lake are 3 of these. Find the crag by scrambling steeply uphill for about a minute above the middle gabion. The 40' wall lies just left of an ice climb known as Indescretion. There are 3 seperate routes here 5.8-5.10. An excellent 5.10 bolted face route leads to a tree from which neighboring climbs can be top-roped.
