Pitchoff Chimney Cliff
About Pitchoff Chimney Cliff:
This roadside crag with its easy access from Route 73, its high visibilty to travelers passing through the region, and its proliferation of moderate to difficult routes, has seen considerable and continous development. The multiple crack and face lines that stand out lichen free stripes on the rock give testiment to the incredible potential such a small cliff can offer. The best approach follows a trail from the southern most of 2 parking areas on Lower Cascade Lake. Desend via a path around the north end or through the chimney with a short rap. |
