About Hawksbill:

Steep and shady, this may be NC's best summer crag. Options are limited under 5.10. Great trad climbing.
Nearest town or city: Morganton
Directions: Located on the same ridge as Table Rock. After leaving Gingercake acres use the first forest service pull-off o nthe left (surrounded by wood bumpers). The trail starts across the road. Follow it up the hill for about 15 minutes. When it levels, split off to the left and take it for a few minutes until you hit a smaller trail off to the left. Take that smaller trail down and to the right to the base of the rock.
