About Between the Apricot & The Main:
This wall is located between the two mentioned walls. It is a good warm up area for the longer NC wall routes. It used to be reachable by descending the "Apricot" gully and traversing the cliff bottom for 10 minutes, but is now virtually impossible due to the dense briars. It is now best reached by descending the trail towards the Mossy Monster Buttress, and turning right just shy of this Buttress. Traverse a faint path right along the cliffline until a "mini" ampitheatre feature is found. There are 2 routes in here, and 3 below. The routes below have a 2 bolt anchor located down on the small flat ledge (100' rap). The lower routes are often times wet. |
