Description:

First ascent by Matt King and Jason, 2004. Start on Moby Dick but instead of following the bolts left from the corner, climb the corner using the crack that goes straight up. Once you reach a small ledge, go around the corner to the right (south face of Crab Eyes) and follow a thin crack over a bulge to a prominent horizontal crack below a final headwall. Pro up good at your feet and then launch up the head wall just to the right of a thin seam that offers no pro. Scary! Route was formerly called "The Kings Way".

4 out of 5 stars AKC

Fun route, steep and pumpy, but excellent features and a solid crack
