Description:

The route is located in the adjacent gully, just 100' south of the Great Expectations route on Elk Slabs. The line takes the path of least resistance to go up and out of the gully. You will encounter some chimney, crack, and face climbing and the protection is generally plentiful and the rock down low is of good quality. However, some of the placements at the top will be questionable due to poorer rock quality. The route trends from left to right so good use of runners is a must. There are no fixed achors at the top. Check it out and enjoy. It is especially nice when the wait is too long to climb Great Expectations (or if you are just looking for something a little more vertical.)

Descent Options:

Traverse left (north) back towards Elk Slabs Tree Route and rappel down from there.
